Join us at The Tea Leaf, 487 Moody Street, Waltham, MA 02453 on Wednesday, July 25, 2108 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. $10.00 of each ticket goes to the Alzheimer’s Association. The Tea Leaf will provide complimentary Iced Tea and will offer a discount of 10% on any merchandise purchased that evening. Relax, unwind and create a unique and beautiful 8” x 10” Coastal Window using sea glass, shells, sand, starfish, sand dollars, urchins and more. We encourage you to bring your own sea treasures if you’d like to incorporate them into your design. You will design your window at the workshop, then take it home to complete at your leisure with our completion kit and full instructions. Our fee includes tax all materials to complete your design.
INFORMATION AND POLICIES
TICKETS AND SEATING
You will check in by name, no ticket required. If you purchase more than one ticket and your friend arrives before you, have them check in under your name. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.
NOT FEELING ARTISTIC
Don’t worry. Create your own design or select one of the templates we provide to use as an outline. For design ideas check out our website at www.coastalwindowworkshop.com or our Facebook page at https://facebook.com/coastalwindowworkshop/
COMPLETING YOUR PIECE
Due to time constraints and public health codes, we are unable to do the fusing of your piece on site. You will complete the design of your piece at the workshop and we will prepare it for you to safely transport home where you will complete it with our completion kit and full instructions at your leisure. You will glue the large pieces used in your design at the workshop, so they will stay intact. We will use a spray adhesive to hold down the smaller items that cannot be glued. This will ensure you can transport it home to complete.
FOOD AND DRINK
The Tea Leaf will provide complimentary Iced Tea for the event. You may want to check out the great restaurants Moody Street has to offer afterward.
USING YOUR OWN FRAME
This workshop is designed using a frame that has been modified and prepared for this event. We require that you use our frame for this one.
CAN I BEGIN EARLY IF I ARRIVE EARLY?
To be courteous and fair, we ask that everyone begins at the same time.
PHOTOS
We encourage you to take photos at the event and share them with your friends and family. We will also take photos of you and your creations to post on our website and our Facebook page. If you wish not to be included, please let our workshop coordinator know.
CANCELLATIONS – NO SHOWS – REFUNDS
Space is limited at our events and often sells out. For these reasons we ask;
If you need to cancel: A minimum of 72 hours must be given to cancel. Please call us at 508-768-7665 or e-mail to Lisa@coastalcraftworkshop.com. We will transfer your registration to another workshop to be used within 90 days. As space is limited and often sells out, 72 hour written notice is required to receive a refund. If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance of the event, we will issue a credit to be used at a future workshop
